According to City of Yuma ordinance, a business license may not be transferred from one owner to another. New owners of a business must apply for their own business license.

License fees are non-transferable; therefore, previous owners cannot be reimbursed for any fees already paid.  New owners must pay for any new fees and are required to secure all necessary permits and business licenses before business operations can commence.
