The City of Yuma provides water and sewer or trash services to the residents and businesses of the City and surrounding areas.
Citizens who use City of Yuma utilities receive a bill for service approximately every 60 days. Included on each bill will be:
- The billing period
- Utility consumption during the period
- The amount due for services
- The payment due date
Bills may also detail:
- Connection fees
- Transfer fees
- Costs for any other services performed during the billing period
Utility bills may be paid online or over the phone using our automated payment system. Payments may also be paid by mail with the envelope included with your statement or in person at the City of Yuma City Hall Customer Services counter during City Hall business hours. There is also a drop box located at City Hall, should you wish to drop your payment while City Hall is closed.
If you have received a shut off notice due to failure to pay, it is recommended that you speak to a customer service representative to ensure ongoing service.
If you believe there is an error in your bill or you wish to dispute your bill, you may arrange a meeting with a customer service representative to solve the problem. Until the situation is resolved, you must still pay your bill by the due date printed. Failure to pay your bill by this date for any reason may result in the disconnection of your utility service.
If you are unable to pay your bill by the due date it is recommended that you speak to a customer service representative.
