The City of Yuma Parks and Recreation Department operates and maintains four public swimming pool facilities and two water features for citizen enjoyment. Learn more about our facilities and amenities.

Pool Locations

• Carver Pool - 5th Street and 13th Avenue (1250 West 5th Street)
  • Carver Pool will open for swim lessons only beginning on June 1, 2010. There are no open swim times at this facility.
  • Carver Pool is 25 yards by 30 feet
• Kennedy Pool - 23rd Street and Kennedy Lane (accessed from 24th Street)
  • Kennedy Pool opens on June 5, 2010 and closes on August 8, 2010. It is closed for the Fourth of July and Labor Day holidays.
  • Kennedy Pool will be available for OPEN SWIM Tuesday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 3:45 pm and 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm. It is also open on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 pm to 7:45 pm.
  • This facility is closed on Mondays.
  • The daily entry fees for Kennedy Pool are as follows:
    • Daily YOUTH (17 and under) Admission: $2; $1.50 with City resident credit
    • Daily ADULT (18 and over) Admission: $4.50; $3 with City resident credit
  • Concessions are available
  • The Kennedy Pool is 50 meters by 65 feet with a 212 foot slide and a separate 2400 square foot leisure pool.
• Marcus Pool - 5th Street and 5th Avenue (545 W. 5th Street)
  • Marcus Pool opens on June 15, 2010 and closes on August 5, 2010. It is closed for the Fourth of July and Labor Day holidays.
  • Marcus Pool will be available for OPEN SWIM Tuesday and Thursday ONLY from noon until 2:00 pm.
  • The daily entry fees for Marcus Pool are as follows:
    • Tuesdays are FREE thanks to a sponsorship by Arizona Physicians IPA
    • Thursday - Daily YOUTH (17 and under) Admission: $2; $1.50 with City Resident Credit
    • Thursday - Daily ADULT (18 and over) Admission: $4.50; $3 with City Resident Credit
  • Marcus Pool is 25 meters by 25 yards with an 800 square foot leisure pool
• Valley Aquatic Center - 4381 W. 18th Street
  • The Valley Aquatic Center opens on June 5, 2010. It is closed for the Fourth of July and Labor Day holidays.
  • From June 5 through August 8, 2010 the Valley Aquatic Center will be available for OPEN SWIM Tuesday through Sunday from 1:00 pm to 7:45 pm.
  • This facility is closed on Mondays.
  • The daily entry fees for the Valley Aquatic Center from June 5 to August 8, 2010 are as follows:
    • Daily YOUTH (17 and under) Admission: $2.50; $2 with City Resident Credit
    • Daily ADULT (18 and over) Admission: $5; $3.50 with City resident credit
  • From August 14 through September 26, 2010 the Valley Aquatic Center will be available for OPEN SWIM on Saturday and Sunday only from 1:00 pm to 5:45 pm.
  • The daily entry fees for the Valley Aquatic Center from August 14 to September 26, 2010 are as follows:
    • Daily YOUTH (17 and under) Admission: $2; $1.50 with City resident credit
    • Daily ADULT (18 and over) Admission: $4; $3 with City resident credit
  • Concessions are available
  • The competition pool is 25 yards by 110 feet and the leisure pool is 5,972 square feet
